(QNO) - On February 3, a delegation from Dak Cheung district (Sekong province, Laos) visited and sent their best wishes to Nam Giang district.
At the meeting, leaders of Nam Giang and Dak Cheung districts were informed of the socio-economic development situation of the two localities in 2023 and major directions for 2024.
On occasion of the Vietnamese Tet upcoming, Deputy Secretary of the Dak Cheung district Party Committee sent his best wishes for the new year to the Nam Giang district’s officials, government, and people.
Dak Cheung district would continue to strengthen the long-standing traditional solidarity relationship between the people of the two districts. The two sides would have more exchange activities and share experiences in socio-economic development and ensuring security and defense.
Mr. La Lim Hau, Chairman of the Nam Giang district People's Council, thanked Dak Cheung for their sentiments and hoped the two districts would continue to help each other with socio-economic development, and the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos is forever green, eternal, and sustainable.
