India sponsors scholarships for Vietnamese students

(QNO) - The Embassy of India in Vietnam has notified about scholarships offered by the Indian Government for Vietnamese students to study at undergraduate/postgraduate/Ph.D. levels in India under the ICCR Scholarship Program (Indian Council for Cultural Relations).

The ICCR scholarship includes the Mekong Ganga Cooperation Scholarship Scheme (MGC), the S. Radhakrishnan Cultural Exchange Scholarship Scheme (CEP), and the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (GSS), covering all fields except medicine, fashion, law, and integrated 5-year programs.

In addition, ICCR offers Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music Scholarship Scheme, aimed at specialized courses in Indian culture such as dance, music, theater, performing arts, sculpture, languages, cuisine, etc.

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet the age requirements: from 18 to 30 years old for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and from 18 to 45 years old for the doctoral program.

The Embassy of India in Vietnam announced that India will sponsor visa fees, tuition fees, living expenses, accommodation, and one-way economy class airfare for selected candidates.
