Model of full-package logistics services

In 2023, China spent more than 24.4 billion USD to import agricultural products. Vietnam was the second largest exporter of agricultural products to China.

This result was from the protocols signed by Vietnam and China for exported agricultural products such as bananas, dragon fruits, mangoes, watermelons, longans, rambutans, and jackfruits via official channels.

The transportation and export of these products are mainly done through northern border gates, namely Tan Thanh, Huu Nghi, Chi Ma (Lang Son), and Mong Cai (Quang Ninh), facing some difficulties, such as shortage of a cold storage system, congestion, spoiled fruit, and an increase in logistics costs.

Therefore, THILOGI has invested in vehicles, equipment, upgraded infrastructure, and developed a full-package logistics service model with transportation, export procedures, quarantine, customs declaration, and storage to support the export of agricultural products (fruits, frozen goods, etc.) by specialized reefer containers through Chu Lai Port, thereby creating favorable conditions for official exports of agricultural products to major markets such as China, the US, and the EU.

Raising the value of Vietnamese agricultural products

As an enterprise connecting agricultural products for export in the Central Highlands, Laos, and Cambodia, THILOGI focuses on investing and developing a full-package logistics service model to link freight forwarding services by road and sea, providing seaport services such as ship towing, loading and unloading, counting, warehouse-yard, ship agency, and customs procedures.

THILOGI owns a fleet of more than 200 vehicles with specialized refrigerated containers (40, 45 feet). At Chu Lai port, the cold storage system is built in accordance with international standards, covering an area of more than 12,500m2 with a capacity of 1,000 cold containers to meet the storage and export needs of customers.

In the coming time, Chu Lai port will put into operation a 50,000-ton port with a modern loading and unloading equipment system. Additionally, e-Port software will be applied, enabling customers to update real-time ship and cargo data status 24/7.

Moreover, Chu Lai port focuses on building a market database, studying customers’ needs, linking with international shipping lines, stabilizing shipping rates, and developing more direct maritime routes from Chu Lai port to major ports in the world, increasing frequency to 4 flights/week.

Currently, THILOGI is perfecting the logistics network by road, and maritime route, with a focus on Chu Lai port, helping businesses reduce transportation costs, shorten delivery time, and ensure safety for goods.

With the close connection between land and sea transportation, THILOGI has many advantages to attract domestic and foreign goods (Laos, Cambodia) to Chu Lai port, and help increase the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in the global market.
